Dr. Chester L. Karrass created the KARRASS seminar based on his impressive academic career, which included an MBA from Columbia University, winning the first Howard Hughes Doctoral Fellowship Award in Business, spending three years conducting advanced research and experimentation in negotiation techniques, and then earning his PhD from the University of Southern California. His professional career included a successful career with the Hughes organization as a negotiator and, later, as a high-level negotiation consultant.
